Secure Transport · U.S. → Canada

Secure transport, escorted.
Never left alone.

Semiconductors, GPUs, servers and other high-value technology moved from the United States into Canada with team drivers, heavy-duty trailer security and a dedicated security escort, from the moment the doors are sealed until the receiver signs.

Six layers of security

Every load travels inside a security plan.

Each layer covers a different risk: theft at a stop, a forced door, a swapped trailer, a lost signal. Together they mean your freight is watched, locked and attended for the whole trip.

1

Team drivers

Two drivers in the cab. One drives while the other rests, so the truck is never left unattended and the load doesn't stop overnight.

2

Dual GPS tracking

Tracking on the tractor plus a hidden tracker on the trailer, so the load stays visible even if one signal is lost. Live tracking link on request.

3

Electronic door lock

Electronic rear-door lock with alerts. If the doors open anywhere other than the delivery dock, dispatch knows right away.

4

Heavy-duty locks & seals

High-security rear-door locks, a kingpin lock whenever the trailer is dropped, and numbered high-security bolt seals photographed at pickup.

5

Security escort

A dedicated escort vehicle follows the load. Armed escort is available where the law permits, through licensed security partners.

6

24/7 dispatch monitoring

Dispatch watches every secure load around the clock, with check-ins at each approved stop and an escalation plan if anything changes.

How a secure load moves

From a U.S. dock to a Canadian receiver.

The plan is set before the truck arrives, and the paperwork is filed before it reaches the border. Nothing about the route is improvised.

Route graphic: plan, seal and escort in the United States, cross the border, deliver in Canada
  1. Plan

Route, approved stops, escort and contacts agreed before pickup. We sign and follow your high-value security requirements.

  2. Seal

Pickup photographed, seal numbers recorded and confirmed with you, trailer locked before it moves.

  3. Escort

The team truck runs with its escort. Approved stops only, each with a check-in to dispatch.

  4. Border

PARS/PAPS and ACE/ACI eManifest filed ahead of time. In-bond moves handled when required.

  5. Deliver

Seals checked with the receiver before the doors open. Photo proof of delivery straight away.

Hardware, not just promises

Heavy-duty security on the trailer itself.

Thieves look for the easy trailer. Ours aren't. Secure loads run on 53' air-ride dry vans fitted for high-value freight, with physical security that has to be defeated before anyone reaches the cargo.

  • High-security rear-door locks

Hardened locks across the rear doors, on top of the electronic lock and its alerts.

  • Kingpin lock

Any time a trailer is dropped, the kingpin is locked so no other tractor can hook it and drive away.

  • Numbered bolt seals

High-security seals recorded on the BOL and photographed at pickup and delivery for a clean chain of custody.

  • Hidden trailer tracker

A covert tracker backs up the tractor's GPS, so the trailer can still be located if the tractor unit is disabled.

  • Photo checkpoints

Photos of the load, seals and locks at pickup, at the border and at delivery, shared with you on request.

Semiconductors & GPUs

Chips, AI accelerators, wafers and boards moving from U.S. facilities to Canadian receivers.

Servers & data-centre hardware

Racks, servers, storage and networking gear for data-centre builds and refreshes.

Aerospace components

Avionics, engines and aircraft-on-ground parts with secured handling and documentation.

Other high-value cargo

Consumer electronics, pharmaceuticals and luxury goods: anything that needs more than a seal.

Secure transport FAQ

Questions security teams ask us.

Is the escort armed?

Armed escort is available where the law permits it, through licensed security partners. The rules for armed private security differ between the United States and Canada, so we confirm the escort setup for each leg of your route when we plan the load.

Will you sign our high-value security requirements?

Yes. We review, sign and follow customer high-value cargo security agreements and SOPs, including stop rules, seal procedures, communication schedules and escalation contacts.

Do you name your customers or what you're hauling?

No. We don't publish customer names, commodities, routes or schedules, and drivers are briefed only on what they need to know. Keeping quiet about it is part of keeping your freight safe.

Are your trucks ever left unattended?

No. Secure loads run with team drivers, so one driver is always with the truck, and stops are limited to pre-approved locations with a check-in to dispatch every time.

How do you handle the border?

Customs paperwork (PARS/PAPS, ACE/ACI eManifest) is filed before the truck arrives, in coordination with your customs broker. Trans Link is a C-TPAT, bonded carrier and handles in-bond shipments when required.

What insurance applies to high-value loads?

Cargo coverage is $250,000 as standard, and up to $500,000 is available on request for high-value shipments. Tell us the declared value when you ask for a quote and we'll confirm coverage on a certificate of insurance.
