Why productions book us

Built for the way tours actually run.

Overnight jumps, short load-out windows and venues that were never built for trucks. Each of these is something we plan for before the first date, not something we discover at the dock.

Team drivers for overnight jumps

Two drivers keep the truck rolling between cities, so the gear is at the next dock before the crew wakes up.

28' and 53' trailers

53' for the full rig, 28' for tight downtown docks, theatres and venues where a full trailer can't get in.

Driver contact before pickup

Your production manager gets the driver's name and cell before pickup, plus status updates at every milestone.

Load-in & load-out windows

We schedule around your advance sheet: dock times, marshalling yards, street closures and curfews.

Canada–U.S. tours

Cross-border routing, with customs paperwork coordinated with your customs broker before the truck reaches the border.

Storage between legs

Secure storage at our Ayr, Ontario facility for gear between tour legs or after a run.

Tour freight FAQ

What production managers ask us.

What equipment do you use for tour freight?

53' air-ride dry vans for full production loads and 28' trailers for venues with tight access. Trailers carry E-Track, load bars and ratchet straps, with moving blankets on request, to keep cases, staging, lighting and audio gear secure.

How do you stay in touch during the run?

You get the driver's name and cell before pickup, and dispatch sends updates at pickup, en route, at border crossings and on arrival. A live tracking link is available on request, and dispatch answers 24/7.

Can you run tours across the Canada–U.S. border?

Yes. Cross-border freight is our core business. We work with your customs broker so paperwork is filed before the truck reaches the border, and we plan around crossing times.

Can you take a run on short notice?

Often, yes. Call 519-489-4700 and dispatch will confirm a truck and team right away. For full tours, the earlier we see the routing, the better we can lock in trucks for every date.

What should I send for a tour quote?

Dates, cities and venues (with load-in and load-out times if you have them), how many trucks, 28' or 53', and whether the run crosses the border. Email the advance sheet to dispatch@trans-link.ca or use the quote form.

Send us the routing.

Dates, cities and venues — we'll quote the whole run, not just one leg. Dispatch answers 24/7 — 519-489-4700.
